The impact of the coronavirus at a glance

The severity of the coronavirus (COVID-19) has forced the world into action. The measures taken to contain the virus have impacted the whole of society, including the education sector, with research becoming more important than ever.

To help compensate for the economic damage caused by these measures, the EU and governments around the world are making specialised budgets available. These budgets translate, among other things, into new or adapted financing programs and funds.
